He has been working in the academic sphere since 1999, currently at the Faculty of Biomedical Engineering of the Czech Technical University in Prague and the Faculty of Management of the Comenius University in Bratislava. He gained basic theoretical knowledge by studying at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the Czech Technical University and the Faculty of Economics of the University of Economics in Bratislava. He gradually developed those insights by completing a number of postgraduate courses, including Ashridge Management College in the United Kingdom, and defending his doctorate at Comenius University..

He gained practical experience during the years 1963 - 1998 in the mechanical engineering and electrical engineering industry, since 1989 in the top position of Chirany Stará Turá. As a respected manager, he has worked in a number of professional organizations (President of the Confederation of Industry of the Slovak Republic, member of the Board of Directors of SOPK, member of the Economic Council of the Government of the Slovak Republic and other organizations). He has been publishing his expertise in management and economics in books (so far, he has published 13 book publications) as well as in professional journals and at conferences. During his pedagogical career, he has led more than 200 diploma theses, and 4 doctoral students have completed their dissertations under his guidance.
