Lawyer, court interpreter, member of professional committees, scientific councils of faculties and universities, president of the international association European Council for Business Education and since 1993 head of the Institute of Law at the Faculty of Business and Economics of Mendel University in Brno. He has been a permanent arbitrator of the Arbitration Court at the Economic Chamber of the Czech Republic and the Agrarian Chamber of the Czech Republic in Prague for over ten years. He deals mainly with European Union law, international law and commercial law. So far, he has published five monographs, more than 20 teaching materials and a number of professional and non-fiction articles and publications. He graduated from the Faculty of Law of the J. E. Purkyně University in Brno (now Masaryk University).
